Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an apprentice to service pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment under the local labor union. You will install, commission, troubleshoot, and respond to warranty calls, guided by the Employer and the CBA guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, familiarity with HVAC equipment, and a willingness to learn via on-the-job training with Union-provided instruction. A current driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment.
• EPA Refrigeration certification a plus.
• 2 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment per labor agreement.
• Commission field devices using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems; respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress.
