Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company is seeking a District Technical Support/Sales Representative to provide HVAC technical guidance and training to distributors and dealers in the Upper Midwest. The role is field-based, based near a major US airport, and covers installation, operation, and service guidance.

Responsibilities include responding to technical inquiries, training field staff, and driving product adoption.

Qualifications

Associates degree in technical field
5+ years direct HVAC or industry experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present training to large groups.
Computer literate
Must be able to full perform physical functions of this role, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, crawl, and climb.
Ability to travel roughly 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

Provide advice regarding routine product installation along with service issues and refer more complex potential buyer’s questions to higher levels.
Assist field organization with rapid and accurate responses to all sales target’s technical product inquiries.
Maximize customer, distributor, and dealer sales by training and promoting the Company’s product installation methods, product service and diagnostic methods, and new product introduction.
Communicate feedback from customers on any product problems, modifications, and alterations so as to help improve the overall image and quality of the Division’s products. Perform other duties as required.
