About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a well-established HVAC, heating, and home services company that is looking for an experienced HVAC Field Supervisor to oversee field operations, coach technicians, improve daily service execution, and ensure customers receive high-quality service.
This is a strong fit for someone who has been a lead technician, field supervisor, service supervisor, or assistant service manager and is ready to take ownership of field team performance.
The right person will bring strong HVAC technical knowledge, oil heat experience, field leadership, customer-service skills, and the ability to keep technicians productive, safe, and supported in a busy service environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support a team of HVAC service technicians and field employees.
- Coach technicians, monitor performance, and provide clear feedback.
- Conduct field meetings, ride-alongs, and job site visits.
- Help improve daily scheduling, route efficiency, and field service execution.
- Handle customer escalations with professionalism and urgency.
- Support technician safety, PPE compliance, accident reporting, tools, and vehicle standards.
- Review field service quality and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with service calls during peak demand when needed.
- Serve as a technical resource for the field team.
- Complete performance reviews and help develop team members.
- Coordinate with dispatch and management to address field issues and maintain service standards.
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years of HVAC technical experience.
- 3+ years of field leadership, management, or supervisory experience.
- Experience leading at least 5+ field service employees.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- MA, CT, or RI Oil Burner, Pipefitter, Plumbing License, or equivalent license required.
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting, service, and customer-resolution skills.
- Comfortable using computers for service reporting, documentation, communication, and field coordination.
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving ability.
- Professional, punctual, flexible, and able to perform well in a fast-paced field environment.
