Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing South Florida team, serving residential and commercial clients across Miami.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, installing and maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance. EPA certification preferred, valid license required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service or installation experience.
• Experience on residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical HVAC components.
• Ability to read equipment diagrams, wiring schematics, and basic blueprints.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Experience with smart HVAC controls and thermostats is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Install air conditioning systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and related equipment.
• Recover and handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA guidelines.
• Install and program conventional and smart thermostats.
• Fabricate, install, and repair ductwork as needed.
• Troubleshoot airflow, ventilation, and system performance issues.
• Complete accurate service documentation and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety standards.

What You'll Do

As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, installing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems while ensuring exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, service, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Install air conditioning systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and related equipment.
• Recover and handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA guidelines.
• Install and program conventional and smart thermostats.
• Fabricate, install, and repair ductwork as needed.
• Perform soldering and brazing on refrigeration lines.
• Troubleshoot airflow, ventilation, and system performance issues.
• Complete accurate service documentation and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety standards.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of HVAC service or installation experience.
• Experience working on residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
