Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is a full-service HVAC and building automation contractor in California seeking a Field Services Supervisor to lead safety policy enforcement, oversee service technicians, and ensure field readiness and customer satisfaction.

You will manage training, staffing, site inspections, contract renewals and cross-team coordination with Dispatch, Sales and Project Production while mentoring future leaders.

Qualifications

• Extensive HVAC field knowledge with minimum 15 years service field experience.
• Extensive Safety knowledge and training with minimum 15 years field experience.
• Knowledge of Local Union Requirements including National Agreements.
• Supervisory and Leadership experience in the service HVAC field min 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Enforce, train, investigate and oversee the service field staff’s safety policy acceptance and compliance.
• Attend all safety related meetings and review all near miss, accidents, and field investigations; authorize root causes and initiate follow up to prevent recurrence.
• Assist with all “new hire” orientations for service technicians and complete check list for field readiness.
• Oversee field training of all technicians, including Mesa Certification and on-the-job training for maintenance, repairs, service calls and small service projects.
• Oversee and direct outside training classes for all technicians and coordinate field training reimbursements through the Union.
• Work with Area Supervisors to perform field evaluations for technicians to ensure qualified staff.
• Perform truck inspections yearly and oversee vehicle lease program.
• Perform Job Site Inspections on all sites as required and on service projects as required.
• On-site for all first-time PMs over $5,000 annually with technicians and customers to ensure contractual compliance and satisfaction.
• Staff maintenances accounts in coordination with Area Supervisors.
• Assist in monthly contract renewal meetings.
• Assist in and provide recruiting support for field staff and maintain proper crew levels.
• Provide field support to Dispatch, Sales and Project Production Staffs and respond to customer field issues in person.
• Participate in monthly team safety meetings.
• Identify, mentor and train future field leadership to meet growth demands.
