Johnson Controls seeks an HVAC Truck Based Service Manager to lead a field service team focused on profitability, productivity, customer satisfaction, and safety. The role combines people leadership with financial discipline and cross-functional collaboration to grow the service business.

Responsibilities include managing customer accounts, monitoring margins, and guiding Technicians and Team Leads to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

• Technical school training or equivalent experience in the HVAC or building controls industry.
• Strong management experience in a service delivery environment.
• Ability to prioritize, schedule, and lead a diverse team.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead service customer account activity for the team’s customer base and drive growth in Labor and Materials and Planned Services.
• Set and monitor gross margin delivery, profitability, and overall service performance.
• Drive L&M growth through Technicians and Team Leads while ensuring service execution.
• Lead resolution of warranty-related customer issues and ensure commitments are met.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, and accounts payable/receivable tied to the service operation.
