Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Building System Surveyor to support HVAC sales with on-site surveys and project design deliverables within the Global Center of Excellence Network. You will work with COE engineers, manage subcontractor relationships, and ensure high-quality, timely documentation.

The role requires hands-on HVAC experience, CAD skills, and familiarity with Salesforce/SharePoint. Occasional travel and local office collaboration are expected in this onsite position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of field experience in HVAC Operations, Installation/Service and or 8 plus years of HVAC Sales experience.
• Minimum five years in field experience in HVAC; including controls, mechanical, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Experience with IP networking up to Layer 3 basics.
• Experience with computer aided drafting software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely and accurate mechanical equipment or control system surveys at the local branch level.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain project bid quotes and pricing proposals.
• Complete and deliver COE survey documentation and deliverables using Salesforce/SharePoint.
• Review project costing estimates with local management before submittal of deliverables to sales.
