Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Building System Surveyor in Honolulu, Hawaii to support HVAC pre-sales and design deliverables. You will work with GCoE engineers, maintain local subcontractor relations, and ensure high-quality site assessments are delivered on time.

Requires 5+ years HVAC field operations or 8+ years HVAC sales, IP networking basics, CAD skills, and strong communication. Travel is occasional; Salesforce and Office 365/SharePoint experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years HVAC field operations/installation/service experience.
• 8+ years HVAC sales experience preferred.
• Experience with IP networking basics.
• Experience with computer aided drafting (CAD).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
• Willingness to learn JCI platforms (Salesforce, NxGen).
• Time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC pre-sales activities at local branches.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for bids and pricing proposals.
• Complete COE survey documentation using Salesforce/SharePoint.
• Review project costing with installation/ops teams before submittal.
• Adhere to standardized processes and document deliverables.
