Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a technically skilled sales support specialist to help drive building solutions. You will assist with pre and post sales activities, create detailed submittals, and coordinate with account executives and field teams to ensure on-time project delivery.

The role emphasizes problem solving, collaboration, and accurate cost estimates for projects up to two years out, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Visio) and basic Windows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Supports construction sales with pre/post sales activities on building systems and equipment projects.
• Provides pre-sales selections and cost estimates; basis of design support.
• Prepares customer proposals, quotes, RFQ/RFI documents, and related communications.
• Manages project Profit and Loss and customer satisfaction across assigned projects.
• Coordinates scheduling, backlog and delivery with branch administration and customers.
• Interprets drawings for engineered submittals and ensures contract compliance.
• Communicates project progress and financial status to management.
