Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a field-based HVAC surveys and pre-sales support specialist at a local branch. You will conduct surveys, coordinate with subcontractors for quotes, and deliver COE documentation using Salesforce and SharePoint.

You will review costing estimates with installation/operations before submission and maintain familiarity with JCI products. Ideal candidates have HVAC field experience, CAD capability, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of field experience in HVAC Operations, Installation/Service or 8+ years HVAC Sales experience.
• Experience with IP networking concepts and CAD drafting software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely and accurate mechanical equipment or control system surveys at the local branch.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for bid quotes and pricing proposals.
• Prepare and deliver COE survey documentation using Salesforce, Office 365, SharePoint.
• Review project costing estimates with installation/operations before submittal.
• Adhere to standardized processes and complete deliverable documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of JCI core products and services.
• Serve as local contact to facilitate resolution/handoff during on-site needs.
