Job summary

Hobbs & Associates, Inc. in Nashville, TN, seeks an Equipment Project Coordinator to manage submittals, equipment selection, pricing, and ship dates for HVAC projects.

You will collaborate with the Sales Team, Customers and Manufacturers to ensure timely project completion and high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include coordinating project stages, tracking costs and margins, organizing project data, and generating quotes.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 4+ years of account management and leadership experience.
• Mechanical contracting with emphasis on HVAC Equipment, Engineering or Construction industry experience preferred.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills with ability to influence others.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage high-volume projects.
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submittals, equipment selection, pricing, and ship dates for each project.
• Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
• Track project costs to ensure targeted performance.
• Align project schedules and deliverables with customers’ milestones.
• Read, understand and interpret building plans and specifications.
• Create and maintain job files for each project.
