Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a highly organized Project Manager / Project Accounting Coordinator to support commercial HVAC projects from award through closeout in Houston, TX.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Accounting, Vendors, and Customers to keep projects on schedule and on budget while delivering excellent service. Responsibilities span project management and project accounting, including scheduling, documentation, invoicing, cost tracking, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Project Coordination, Project Management, Construction Administration, or Project Accounting experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working with vendors and purchase orders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC projects from order award through warranty completion.
• Coordinate project schedules, equipment deliveries, and customer communication.
• Track project milestones and proactively resolve issues before they impact the schedule.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and status updates.
• Support project closeout and warranty activities.
• Create purchase orders and review vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Reconcile project costs, billings, and profitability.
• Prepare customer invoices and monitor payment status.
• Maintain project budgets and identify cost variances.
• Track project revenue and ensure timely billing.
• Assist with financial reporting and job cost analysis.
