Job summary

The role requires 2+ years in HVAC project management or estimating or 5+ years in HVAC with equivalent experience, plus flexibility to work onsite Mon-Thu and on Fridays choose location.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Engineering Technology.
• HVAC project management or estimating experience (2+ years) or 5+ years without degree.
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Optimize/validate equipment selection and configuration per plans and specs.
• Evaluate cost savings and potential cost issues on projects.
• Validate project scope, plans and specs; plan EQ/VPP cost breaks; validate quantities.
• Support sales with submittals and hold job cost meetings; coordinate submittal releases.
• Negotiate prices with vendors to optimize expenses.
• Prepare equipment for order entry and reconcile job costs.
• Provide post-sale technical support for installation, startup, warranty, and controls.
