Job summary

Trane Technologies plc in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Equipment Project Manager to oversee HVAC equipment projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with owners, contractors, and field staff.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent with 2–4 years of project management/HVAC experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Onsite work Monday–Thursday with flexible Friday location choices.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in business or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; OR a minimum of four (4) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules, parameters, and procedures to accomplish system objectives; involves complex equipment applications.
• Communicates with customers and representatives, including building owners, contractors, trades, subcontractors and staff; investigates concerns and implements corrective action.
• Monitors forecasted cost at completion, controls expenses, and manages project budgets.
• Creates revisions to project schedules, tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones.
• Places equipment orders, issues purchase orders, and generates work orders for equipment start-ups.
