Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years in HVAC project management or estimating.
• Encourages candidates without a 4-year degree if they have practical experience and relevant skills.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature controls preferred.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours as required.
• Valid driver's license for 12 months with clean record as described.

Responsibilities

• Optimize/validate equipment selection: size, configuration, voltage, options.
• Evaluate possible cost savings and cost problems on projects.
• Validate project scope by reviewing plans, specs, and transition docs; plan EQ/VPP dollar breaks.
• Support sales with preliminary/final submittals and coordinate submittal releases.
• Negotiate prices with vendors to optimize expenses.
• Prepare equipment for order entry and reconcile job costs.
• Provide post-order technical support for installation, startup and warranty services.
