Job summary

Building Controls & Services Inc., part of the AIR Control Concepts family, is seeking a Sales Engineer in Lenexa, KS. The role focuses on promoting, estimating, and bidding HVAC equipment and DDC controls systems, building strong relationships with mechanical engineers and contractors.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, and at least five years in engineering systems with two years in HVAC sales. Travel and occasional after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in engineering systems or related field.
• Minimum two years in HVAC equipment sales.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Promotes HVAC equipment and DDC controls systems to mechanical engineers and contractors.
• Prepares and presents proposals, bids, quotes and submittals for HVAC projects.
• Builds and maintains relationships with mechanical engineers and contractors.
• Coordinates with the sales team to promote other company products and services.
