Job summary

Airsys seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the design, validation, and deployment of advanced HVAC and cooling solutions for mission-critical markets. You will set technical direction, ensure design integrity, and align execution with business goals while partnering with Sales, Product, Operations, and customers to translate priorities into deliverables.

As a leader, you will mentor engineers, manage workload and capacity, recruit top talent, and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years in engineering with HVAC systems.
• 3+ years leading engineers or technical teams.
• Strong HVAC design, controls, commissioning knowledge.
• Proven ability to develop talent and manage performance.
• Clear communication with executives and customers.
• Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Lead and develop engineering team including Senior Application & HVAC Engineers.
• Set goals, conduct reviews, and plan career development.
• Manage workload, capacity, and project timelines.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.

• Provide senior technical direction across HVAC design and controls.
• Review designs, submittals, calculations, and shop drawings.
• Drive standards, guidelines, tools, and workflows.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations, and customers.
• Oversee engineering pipeline, processes, and documentation.
