Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience installing commercial HVAC ductwork or related sheet metal work.
• Ability to read construction drawings and measurements.
• Experience using hand and power tools for duct installation.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC ductwork, vents, diffusers, grilles and related components per drawings.
• Read blueprints and project specs to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Measure, position, assemble, connect and secure ductwork to walls, ceilings and supports.
• Seal joints, install insulation and verify connections for leaks and operation.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a safe, organized condition and follow safety policies.
• Communicate field conditions or conflicts to supervisors and coordinate with team.
