CCI Mechanical, LLC is expanding its workforce to hire a Sheet Metal Mechanic focused on HVAC ductwork installation and fabrication. The role emphasizes durable duct systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

This position reports to the Holt, FL area with standard hours starting at 6:30 AM, ending at 3:00 PM, subject to production schedules. A comprehensive benefits package supports employee health and security.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork design, and installation techniques.
• Must be able to work on a ladder or scissor lift.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand architectural and HVAC plans.
• Attention to detail, ensuring accurate measurements, connections, and sealing of ductwork.
• Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install ductwork per blueprints, ensuring airtight connections.
• Inspect and repair ductwork for optimal airflow.
• Fabricate duct components from sheet metal.
• Install insulation to improve energy efficiency.
• Diagnose issues and implement fixes.
• Use tools including: shears, brakes, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, leak detectors, and refrigerant recovery machines.
