CCI Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic skilled in HVAC ductwork installation and fabrication. Reporting to the Holt, FL location, you will work on residential, commercial, and industrial projects with a focus on quality connections and airtight duct systems.

The role requires at least 1 year of construction experience, blueprint literacy, and the ability to lift heavy materials and work from ladders or lifts. Competitive benefits support career growth and stability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork design, and installation techniques.
• Must be able to work on a ladder or scissor lift.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand architectural and HVAC plans.
• Attention to detail with measurements, connections and sealing of ductwork.
• Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing ductwork according to blueprints, ensuring proper connections and minimizing air leaks.
• Inspecting and maintaining existing ductwork, identifying and repairing leaks, ensuring optimal airflow.
• Fixing damaged ductwork by replacing sections or making adjustments.
• Fabricating duct components, including cutting, bending, joining sheet metal with specialized tools.
• Installing insulation around ductwork to improve energy efficiency.
• Diagnosing issues with the ductwork system and implementing solutions.
• Using tools and equipment including shears, brakes, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, leak detectors, and refrigerant recovery machines.
