Job summary

Gent Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Dispatcher to manage a busy service board and keep technicians, customers, and the office moving smoothly. You’ll act as the operational engine, not just answer calls, coordinating routes, priorities, and real-time adjustments.

The ideal candidate brings HVAC or similar field-service dispatch experience, strong ServiceTitan proficiency, and a proactive, decisive communication style to keep the operation running efficiently.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, home-service, or similar field-service dispatch experience.
• ServiceTitan experience is a major plus.
• Proactive & decisive, forward-thinking, strong communication, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and Dispatch daily service schedule in ServiceTitan and route technicians based on location and priority.
• Continuously monitor dispatch board and adjust routes to minimize drive time and downtime.
• Coordinate with technicians and CSR team on schedule changes and priorities.
• Integrate emergency or priority calls into a full schedule with sound decision making.
• Proactively communicate with customers about arrival times and schedule changes.
• Document schedule changes in ServiceTitan and review prior calls for payment or invoicing.
• Escalate to management when unusual situations arise.
