Chapman Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing in Indianapolis is hiring a Dispatcher to keep service schedules tight and customers satisfied. You’ll coordinate daily routes, communicate with technicians and the Call Center, and quickly resolve disruptions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service, dispatch, or call center experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling/dispatch software and CRM systems.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technician schedules are efficient and client needs are met promptly.
• Assist Call Center and Service Departments by communicating with technicians and clients.
• Proactively report disruptions to the Dispatch Manager and Lead Dispatcher.
• Direct technicians to their next call as needed.
• Update clients on scheduling processes and hold tickets.
• Enter client data accurately and efficiently.
• Backup other dispatchers during absences.
• Follow daily opening and closing procedures.
• Prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Dispatch Manager.
