Job summary

American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking a hands-on HVAC Dispatcher to coordinate daily scheduling and dispatch operations for residential HVAC technicians in Forest Hill, MD. This on-site role requires strong organization and clear communication to keep service appointments running smoothly.

You will manage routing, updates to customers, and ensure technicians stay productive throughout the day. The position offers weekly pay, paid training, and benefits in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in dispatch, scheduling, or call center environments.
• Experience coordinating field service teams (HVAC or home services preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems.
• Familiarity with local geography to support technician routing and service scheduling.
• Must report daily to the office (no remote work available).
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts and weekend rotations as needed.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch HVAC service technicians efficiently to meet customer appointment times.
• Manage incoming service requests and schedule heating and air conditioning service calls.
• Coordinate technician routing and job assignments to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor call flow through the HVAC service platform and dispatch system.
• Communicate with technicians and customers to provide updates on HVAC service appointments.
• Support field teams throughout the day by adjusting schedules and resolving routing issues.
• Maintain accurate service scheduling and ensure technicians remain productive throughout the day.
