Job summary

R.F. MacDonald Co. in Hayward is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate service calls, schedule 25+ technicians, and ensure rapid response for Bay Area clients. The role demands excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with AM Sales, field technicians, and Service Managers, using NetSuite and dispatch software to maintain accurate workload data and customer updates. The position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7 years related experience in HVAC customer service, dispatching, or project management or equivalent.
• Must pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming customer calls and route to appropriate teams.
• Schedule and coordinate all service calls and prepare weekly production plans.
• Create and dispatch work orders daily and maintain dispatch board.
• Track technician availability and update progress hourly.
• Assist with billing issues and coordinate with Accounting as needed.
• Maintain and organize field service data and documentation.
