Actalent in Fishers, IN seeks an HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design and engineering of HVAC systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. You will work with plumbing, hydronics, electrical, and BIM teams to deliver complete mechanical solutions across the Midwest and the United States.

Qualifications

• : Professional Engineer license preferred and BS Mechanical Engineering is desirable.
• : Experience in commercial/industrial HVAC design and project delivery.
• : Proficient in HVAC load calculations and equipment selection.
• : Familiarity with design/build project environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC construction documents for commercial/industrial projects.
• Perform HVAC load calculations and equipment sizing using TRACE.
• Design layout of HVAC systems, ductwork, and piping.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for equipment.
• Conduct field surveys and document conditions for renovations.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical disciplines.
