HFA seeks an experienced mechanical designer to provide HVAC and Plumbing design on a team of architects and engineers on commercial projects across the United States. The designer should work independently through design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration/RFIs, and be proficient with Revit.

Successful candidates will proactively solve design challenges, research mechanical and energy codes for all U.S. climate zones, and can work virtually.

Formación

• Ability to independently develop and draft construction documents for HVAC and plumbing.
• Knowledge of recognized national standards (IMC, IPC, ASHRAE) and energy codes.

Responsabilidades

• Designer should be proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT and train new employees on standards.
• Collaborate with Architects and Engineers to develop construction documents and manage project aspects.
• Ensure high quality control and be prepared for client contact and budget considerations.
• Design and draft domestic water, sewer, and natural gas piping systems for small to medium projects.
