Job summary

Jobot is seeking an HVAC Design Engineer/Designer in Milpitas, CA. The role focuses on developing HVAC solutions with solid AutoCAD experience and a background in Mechanical Engineering or MEP design for commercial or industrial projects.

The candidate will present designs to Senior Project Managers, coordinate with engineering and construction teams, and manage design packages through the project lifecycle in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AutoCAD experience.
• HVAC design or mechanical engineering experience.
• Commercial or industrial HVAC project experience.
• Background in MEP engineering, mechanical design, or construction.
• Ability to develop engineering concepts and complete design packages.
• Experience with construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to meet the required hybrid office schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC engineering solutions for commercial/industrial projects from concept through final design packages.
• Present designs to Senior Project Managers for review and approval.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to deliver complete design packages.
