Job summary

Actalent, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC equipment under supervision, performing design calculations and evaluating HVAC system options to meet industry standards.

You will prepare design documents and coordinate with architects and other engineers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. The role requires collaboration with senior engineers, familiarity with building codes, and experience in healthcare, data centers, or central plants.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) required.
• Proficient in mechanical design and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit a plus.
• Familiar with building design codes and ASHRAE standards; LEED knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC equipment under the guidance of a professional engineer.
• Perform system design calculations and analyze HVAC options to industry standards.
• Familiarize with relevant building codes and standards.
• Prepare design documents including plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Coordinate work with architects and engineers of other disciplines.
• Manage tasks for technical accuracy and timely delivery with senior engineers.
