Job summary

Johnstone Supply is a leading HVACR wholesale distributor seeking a Counter Sales/CSR I to deliver prompt, professional service to customers. You will handle quotes, bids, orders, and payments, while researching products and assisting key accounts. Training will build HVAC product knowledge and sales skills to support showroom operations.

You will work in a dynamic team, contribute to fast-paced counter sales, and help promote promotions, with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak effectively with customers.
• HVAC/R product knowledge is helpful; CSR I learns on the job.
• English reading/writing proficiency.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision under pressure.
• RF scanner proficiency; forklift experience preferred.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the phone in a prompt, professional manner.
• Provide courteous service, listen to needs, and respond.
• Process orders and payments per SOP.
• Enter sales orders into system and generate quotes.
• Assist with warranties and credit returns.
• Research products for quotes and bids for large customers.
• Maintain showroom and counter sales area.
• Support Account Managers with key customers' needs.
• Attend product training to improve knowledge.
• Promote promotions to customers when applicable.
