Job summary

Lex Heating & Air is seeking a friendly, dependable Customer Service Representative to join our team in Plano, TX. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, answer questions, schedule service appointments, and help ensure a smooth experience by coordinating with dispatch and service teams.

The role requires at least 3 years of customer service experience and strong communication skills. HVAC/home services familiarity a plus, with ServiceTitan as a preferred tool.

Qualifications

• 3 years of customer service experience minimum.
• Call center experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or another home services industry is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers, customer databases, and call center software.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact: handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with friendly, professional service.
• Help customers find solutions: answer questions about HVAC services and provide accurate information.
• Schedule service appointments: coordinate with dispatch to schedule appointments and ensure timely service.
• Keep communication flowing: work closely with dispatchers, technicians, and team members to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Stay organized: maintain accurate records of conversations, service requests, transactions, and feedback.
• Solve problems: address customer concerns with patience and escalate issues when needed.
