Johnstone Supply in San Diego, CA is hiring a Counter Sales Associate I to support HVAC/R product needs, provide technical information, and handle special orders. You will deliver prompt, friendly service in-person and over the phone while promoting store profitability.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to troubleshoot basic issues, and proficiency with point-of-sale systems. A high school diploma and 1+ year retail experience are preferred.

Competenze

• Requires high school diploma or GED with 1+ years in wholesale/retail.
• Experience delivering front-line customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R products is a plus.

Mansioni

• Greet customers in-store and by name, delivering friendly, professional service.
• Help customers select products and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Process quotes, warranties, returns, and will-call orders accurately.
• Research product availability across branches and coordinate pickup.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and organized displays.
• Meet sales targets and follow SOPs for pricing and transactions.
