Job summary

Johnstone Supply in the United States is seeking a Counter Sales Associate I to help customers with HVAC/R product needs, provide information, and place special orders. You will maintain store profitability and deliver friendly service in-person and over the phone.

Your role includes helping customers select products, resolving basic issues, processing transactions, and coordinating stock transfers between branches when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ year of related experience in wholesale/retail environment.
• Front line customer service experience is essential.
• Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide HVAC/R product information and assistance.
• Assist customers in selecting products and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Process quotes, orders, warranties, and returns accurately and promptly.
• Research stock availability across branches and coordinate transfers as needed.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness, stock shelves, and follow SOPs.
• Build relationships with customers and communicate lead information to sales team.
