Job summary

Watsco’s GEMAIRE division is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to manage our sales counter at a wholesale HVAC distributor. You will deliver strong customer service, drive sales, and collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve issues and upsell related items.

The role emphasizes showroom merchandising, safety compliance, and timely sales order processing in a fast-paced environment. Prior HVAC exposure is preferred; Bachelor’s/A.S. degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent GEMAIRE, driving maximum sales at the showroom.
• Interact with internal/outside sales, vendors and contractors.
• Showroom merchandising and restocking products.
• Assist in resolving customer relations with dealers and end users.
• Complete sales order process with upsell of related items.
• Adhere to safety requirements relevant to duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
