Job summary

Gemaire Distributors in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Counter Sales Warehouse Associate to manage the sales counter and day-to-day warehouse tasks, including order picking, loading, unloading and inventory control.

You will interact with internal and external sales staff, vendors and contractors, provide excellent customer service to dealers and end users, and assist in merchandising and restocking showroom inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in Counter Sales, HVAC industry preferred.
• Proven success in sales and customer service.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving and service skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet goals.

• Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and outside sales people, vendors and contractors.
• Showroom merchandising and product restocking.
• Resolve customer relations issues with dealers and end users.
• Process sales orders and upsell related items.
• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Receive, inspect and stock merchandise.
• Verify items received against orders.
• Pick and verify orders for shipment.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure warehouse and grounds are neat, safe for staff and visitors.
• Wear PPE and follow safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
