DSG in Aberdeen, SD seeks a HVAC Counter Sales Associate to facilitate customer orders and support warehouse duties in a full-time hourly role. Typical day includes assisting customers at the City Desk, writing orders, generating quotes, and helping with inventory control.

The successful candidate has 2+ years of college/technical training or 3–5 years HVAC field experience, strong customer service and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Product and technical knowledge typically gained from 2+ years of college/technical school OR 3–5 years field HVAC experience.
• Excellent relationship building and communication with customers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task while providing great service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary facilitator for customer orders at the City Desk.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide professional guidance.
• Write and fill orders accurately and promptly; generate quotations.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support as needed.
• Collaborate with sales team to resolve customer service issues.
• Restock counter area and monitor inventory for damaged products.
• Maintain a clean, appealing counter display.
• Encourage sales of additional products where appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
