Job summary

Dakota Supply Group in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Plumbing, HVAC, & Electrical Counter Sales Associate. This full-time, hourly role supports customers at the City Desk with order placement and fulfillment, while assisting in warehouse duties as needed.

The position offers ESOP ownership, robust training and development, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Typical hours are 7am–5pm, Monday–Friday, with occasional variation to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of college or technical school or 3-5 years field experience in plumbing, HVAC, & electrical products.
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary facilitator for customer orders at the City Desk.
• Assist customers with product inquiries in a professional manner.
• Write and occasionally fill orders accurately and promptly.
• Generate customer quotations and follow up as necessary.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support.
• Collaborate with sales team to resolve customer service issues.
• Restock the counter area by product brand and location.
• Monitor product inventory and identify damaged items.
• Maintain a clean, appealing counter display.
