Job summary

Johnstone Supply is hiring a Counter Sales Associate I to help customers in-store and over the phone, recommending HVAC/R products and solutions. You will support sales through order processing, quotes, and follow‑ups while ensuring accurate paperwork and friendly service.

You will use POS and research tools to locate parts, assist with product selection, and maintain a clean showroom. Team‑oriented and customer focused, you will contribute to store profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience in wholesale/retail.
• Experience includes front line customer service and ability to research HVAC/R items.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in-store and by phone, provide friendly and professional service.
• Assist customers with product selections and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Research and source products using POS, catalogs, websites, and internal systems.
• Process quotes, warranties, and returns; handle daily transactions and paperwork.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and organization; stock shelves and create displays.
• Manage inquiries, follow up on orders, and communicate delays to customers.
