Plumbers Supply Co. is seeking a Counter Sales Associate at our Fishers, Indiana branch. You will be the first voice for HVAC contractors and technicians, know our equipment, parts, and supplies, and help customers on the counter and over the phone.

You will greet customers, recommend products, and handle orders with accuracy, while staying calm during busy times and delivering correct information the first time.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in HVAC sales, supply house counter work, or HVAC service or installation (preferred).
• Enough product knowledge to hold a real conversation with a working technician.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in and phone customers quickly and professionally.
• Recommend HVAC products that fit the actual job.
• Process orders, quotes, and returns accurately.
• Track shipments and push on orders when a job is waiting on parts.
• Serve as the go-to person for specs, cross-references, alternatives, and technical questions.
