Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Cooling Field Engineer to install, commission and service Liebert Air products at customer sites. The role requires strong communication with customers and colleagues to ensure reliability and uptime.

The position involves on-site and remote support, following safety rules, maintaining field documentation, and adhering to field notices. Travel is required; a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED holder.
• HVAC certificate or equivalent field experience.
• Six years military experience in a related field.
• EPA refrigerant license
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Interpersonal and professional skills
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Able to read electrical diagrams and blueprints
• Knowledge of electrical fundamentals and HVAC theory
• Capable of site evaluation and basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain certifications per Job requirements.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with National Technical Support on equipment issues.
• Perform work-related tasks according to guidelines for scheduled maintenance.
• Implement Field Change Notices according to guidelines.
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins and Field Change Notices.
• Provide accurate reporting and maintain inventory as required.
• Maintain customer satisfaction with effective communication.
• Attend customer meetings as required.
