Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based technician responsible for commissioning and servicing on assigned projects at customer locations. You will program, troubleshoot, and set up graphics and communications links, ensuring end-to-end testing and accurate documentation of verification and sequences of operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 7+ years experience in HVAC/Controls.
• Technical School or formal training preferred.
• MS Office proficiency and handheld device experience.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end to end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects.
• Document point to point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close out requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact, service products and equipment on site, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing on-site systems.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
