Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world leader in climate solutions, seeks a field-based technician to commission, program, and service on-site at customer locations. You will document verifications, coordinate with teams, and uphold safety standards as you work on direct digital control systems.

Responsibilities include end-to-end testing, customer liaison, and timely job close-out, with flexibility for overtime and occasional overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience required.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months; no major violations in past 3 years.
• DDC controls experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end-to-end testing and servicing on assigned projects.
• Document point-to-point verification, sequence of operations validation, and job close-out requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact; service equipment on-site and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for installation and repairs.
• Stay current on Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of DDC systems.
• Enforce safety standards and manage company assets on-site.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime and occasional overnight stays.
