Johnson Controls seeks a Controls Service Technician Team Leader I to oversee HVAC building control systems service, design, configuration, and operation. You will lead technicians, coordinate routes, and ensure safe, high-quality field execution supporting customer projects.

Role combines hands-on controls expertise with team leadership, customer coordination, and project delivery across smart building environments in California.

• Minimum 10 years of experience with programming, installing, and/or commissioning controls systems, including system-level controllers.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the construction, service mechanical, electrical, or HVAC service industry.

• Lead the service, repair, design, configuration, and operation of HVAC building control systems and low-voltage sub-systems.
• Develop complex software programs and support commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Create and coordinate flow diagrams, sequences of operation, bills of material, network layouts, electrical schematics, and related submittal documents.
• Support day-to-day field technician activities, plan monthly routes, and deploy resources effectively.
• Coordinate with sales, service operations, subcontractors, and other trades to support bids and installation efforts.
