As an HVAC Controls Systems Team Lead, you will guide daily field activities, support project execution, and help develop the capabilities of your team.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Automation, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in HVAC controls, building automation, installation, commissioning, service, or project delivery.
• Experience leading field activities in a customer-facing environment.
• Knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC controls, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and controls-related software tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field team of 3–6 Controls Systems Technicians in installation, commissioning, startup, and service.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Provide coaching and development to technicians to grow skills.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with controls hardware, software, networks, and integration.
• Ensure installed systems meet design intent and project requirements.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Assist with O&M activities and ongoing site requirements.
• Maintain clear communication of project status and performance.
