Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Controls Systems Team Lead to direct daily field activities, oversee commissioning, startup, and service of building automation projects. You will collaborate with customers, project managers, and subcontractors to deliver safe, efficient, and quality outcomes in line with design intent.

The role involves coaching technicians, coordinating field execution, and ensuring documentation and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Automation, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in HVAC controls, building automation systems, controls installation, commissioning, service, or project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience leading field activities and coordinating technical work in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field activities for HVAC controls installations, commissioning, startup, service, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, timely delivery.
• Provide coaching and development support to technicians to grow technical and customer service skills.
