Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Controls Systems Technician to lead on-site projects for customer sites. You will plan, execute, and close out control system installations, including hardware design, programming, installation coordination, and commissioning.

The role requires 1–3 years in HVAC/Controls, strong communication, and hands-on experience with digital HVAC controls systems. On-site work with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction is expected.

Qualifications

• Technical associate’s degree required.
• 1-3 years of related field experience in HVAC/Controls or Building Automation Systems.
• Hands-on experience in design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.
• Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to perform work independently.
• Strong personal computer skills.
• Knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems.

Responsabilités

• Plan, execute, and complete control systems projects on-site with assigned customers.
• Oversee hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and commissioning.
• Manage project finances: costs, billings, and collections.
• Coordinate communication with customers throughout all project phases.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance to team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Prepare as-built and commissioning documentation.
