Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Automation Engineer to lead master system integration of BMS, develop control databases and user interfaces, and set up control systems per project specs. The role involves on-site and remote support, field startup, and software installation for large enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation.
• Approve and develop system graphic displays, according to project specifications or sales proposals.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Perform multifaceted system evaluation and diagnostics.
• Isolate and troubleshoot escalated problems and take corrective action.
• Document problem resolution and report finding back to Project team for customer follow-up.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
