Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Automation Engineer in the United States to perform master systems integration of building management systems (BMS), build control databases, create user interfaces, and set up control systems based on project specifications and sales proposals.

You will provide on-site and remote support to installers and customers, perform site startup, commissioning, testing, and remote software installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
• Ability to analyze solutions using technical judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Core knowledge in three or more: Building Management Systems, Niagara, Distech Controls, BACnet/Modbus, HVAC Controls, IT Networking, Commissioning, Troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams and panel layouts.
• Program control applications using various software tools.
• Site checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Verify operation per project specs and sales proposals.
• Develop system graphics displays per specs.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot escalated issues.
• Document resolutions and report findings to the project team.
