Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an on-site Controls Project Manager for our HVAC division.

You will lead control systems projects from planning through commissioning, coordinating with subcontractors, installers and design staff to ensure on-time completion and profitability. You will balance customer satisfaction with project financials, pursue change orders when needed, and ensure compliance with safety standards and Johnson Controls literature and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a technical associate's degree with four years of field experience or six years of equivalent related field experience in the HVAC/Building Automation industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred with six years of field experience in HVAC.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical material to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete control systems projects on-site as the project leader.
• Provide direction to subcontractors, installers, technicians, designers, and admin staff.
• Manage project costs, billings, collections, and profitability while balancing customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate communication with customers and pursue change orders when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
