Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Controls Project Manager for the HVAC division to lead on-site control systems projects from planning through completion.

You will supervise contractors, coordinate hardware design, programming, installation, commissioning and closeout with customers, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Minimum of a technical associate's degree with four years of field experience or six years of equivalent related field experience in the HVAC/Building Automation industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing and commissioning digital HVAC/Building Automation controls systems.
• Ability to communicate technical material to non-technical audiences and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete control system projects on site for assigned customers.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, installers, and designers to meet project scope and timelines.
• Manage project finances including costs, billings, and collections to maintain profitability.
• Record and communicate project status, forecast revenue, costs, and gross margin to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, state, local and federal requirements.
