Job summary

Johnson Controls in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an HVAC Controls Team Lead to manage on-site control systems projects from design through commissioning. You will lead project teams, coordinate with customers and subcontractors, and ensure timely completion within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a technical associate’s degree and hands-on experience with digital HVAC controls, system design, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in digital HVAC controls design and commissioning.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong PC skills and familiarity with control software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete control systems projects on site.
• Manage project costs, billings, and collections to meet profitability targets.
• Coordinate communications with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements, and maintain ethics.
• Provide direction and mentorship to technicians and engineers on site.
• Produce as-built documentation and commissioning reports for projects.
